Tony
Fisher

Chairman
"Loony Liberal",
"Hairdo", "Green sleeves" I could go on
Right Arm Medium/Fast, R/H bat
The Chairman extraordinaire, Tony joined
Sheriff in 2000 playing a handful of Pilmoor and Friendlies games. In
2001 he became Friendlies captain and in 2002 Chairman of the club.
A real club man through and through, Tony spends many an hour rolling
the pitch, playing, netting, captaining
the 2nd XI, and "shouting" support from the boundary whenever
not playing. One
slight flaw to this admirable character is his sudden breakdown from,
and then remarkable recovery from numerous career threatening injuries.
To date he has fought off cracked ribs, various pulled muscles, hamstrings,
calfs, gout, ...to name but a few. "It's a miracle" is often
heard around the team room before a match.
He now holds the world record for wearing a fibreglass pot as a fashion
accessory.
